Mash Maker: Web Mashup Research Project

A researcher at Intel is working on making it easier for normal web users to create their own mashups. Named Mash Maker it uses the web browser as a development environment for building mashups using pre-made or community-build mashups, wigets that can be combined into new mashups, or even developing new widgets.
